Thanks to Pandora and Ben Rose for Legacy Gift

"For years we have been inspired by Michael Soulé's vision for a wild and reconnected spine of the continent where bears, wolves, caribou, and other magnificent animals roam unhindered from Alaska to Mexico. We hope our future gift can serve both as an inspiration to others and as a resource for saving and protecting one or more of the spine's most endangered linkages." -Pandora and Ben Rose

THE WILDLANDS PROJECT IS THRILLED to announce that Pandora and Ben Rose of Ramona, California are creating a living trust that names the Wildlands Project as beneficiary. Pandora and Ben recently made this generous decision after reading, in the online edition of Wildlands Connection, of our plans to launch a Spine of the Continent reconnection campaign.

Right now we are working with our partners to begin implementing our grand vision to reconnect and protect critical wildlife habitats and linkages from the Arctic Ocean of Alaska and the Yukon of Western Canada, south through the Rocky Mountains and associated ranges, to the northernmost breeding grounds of the jaguar in Mexico's Sierra Madre.

Pandora and Ben's generous gift will help ensure that the Wildlands Project has the financial resources to implement the vision we share. Specifically, their gift will be used for on-theground acquisition of land and conservation easements to secure land in critical linkage areas-creating a wildlands and wildlife legacy that lasts forever.

Pandora and Ben also hope that by announcing their gift today other like-minded Wildlands Project donors will join them in including the Wildlands Project in their estate planning.

The Wildlands Project's board of directors and staff are grateful to Pandora and Ben for their generosity and forward thinking.

We welcome the opportunity to recognize those who have included us in their estate planning and to discuss legacy giving with donors who might consider a lasting gift to our organization.
